This week, I got to talk to Jill Brockman-Cummings and Harold Wilken of Janie’s Mill. My newly discovered gem, Janie’s Mill produces grain and flour products that are locally sourced, organic, stone ground, and of exceptionally high quality.
Having had a chance to bake with both their Artisan and Red Fife flours, I can say I’ve found my new flour source. I’m going to lay in a supply of the AP flour, as well as more of the two I tried. And I might have to add a few others to my list!
Jill and Harold were great fun to talk to, and very accomodating to all my questions.
