This week, let’s talk a bit about practicing the art of hospitality, how it’s different than entertaining, and why it’s important.
And I’ll include a recipe for Oliebollen, which Washington Irving referred to. I can certainly see them as an expression of hospitality in the Dutch community. The recipe I linked to is for plain oliebollen, but there is also one on the same site for another common version that includes apples and raisins.
